YZU Launched a Summer Camp from Confucius Institute in USA

Yangzhou University (YZU) launched a 2017 Chinese Bridge Summer Camp of Confucius Institute of Kennesaw State University (KSU) from June 2th to June 13th, with the support of the Headquarters of Confucius Institute. A group of 2 teachers and 16 students from this summer camp will have a two weeks’ Chinese language and cultural experience.

On June 4th, College for Overseas Education (COE) and College for International Studies (CIS) held an opening for the camp. They and their buddies, students from the CIS had a happy get-together. The project leaders from both sides made speeches, hoping for a smoothly success for this summer camp. After then, Chinese students introduced the city of Yangzhou to their friends and played Chinese traditional performances, such as playing the Guzheng. American students also showed their talents by dancing and singing.

In the following days, the camp participants will have survival Chinese classes and Chinese cultural lectures in YZU, visit scenic beauty and cultural relics of Yangzhou, and experience home stay with senior students from Yangzhou High school.
