The South Division Final of 2018 "Shared Joy in Jiangsu" Chinese Speech Contest for Foreigners was held in Jiangnan University on May 31. Sponsored by the Information Office of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation, the event provided a stage for international students to show their Chinese proficiency and share their stories in Jiangsu and China. 20 international students from 17 countries took part in the contest. Huang Deni, the YZU Contestant from Indonesia, won first prize and Du Hanli, the YZU Contestant from Yemen, won third prize.

　　In the contest, Huang Deni conquered the audience by telling her Yangzhou story in fluent Chinese while Du Hanli showed his special skill of speaking Yangzhou dialect.
