Security Tips for Summer Vacation

Dear all,

From Jul. 14th to Aug.31 st is the 2018 summer vacation. For your own safety and to have a happy holiday, please check the security tips as bellow:

1.Please report to your class teacher and register where you are going in summer vacation before it begins. During the vacation, please arrange your daily life and activities properly. And keep your passports well. Please take care when you go outside and update your teacher timely on your destination. After the vacation, please return to register on time.    

2. Abide by the relevant regulations for Overseas Students’ accommodation in Yangzhou University. Accommodating others in dorm is forbidden. Drinking alcohol or using induction cookers, micro-wave oven and other high power appliances in the room are strongly forbidden. Lock all the windows and make sure all the water taps and electricity supplies are switched off before your leaving.

3. If you have a travel plan, please pay more attention to the traffic safety and take good care of your own property when you are traveling. Driving or carrying adult on fuel motorcycles and over-size electric bikes are forbidden.

4. Please pay attention to the local weather forecast in rainy season, and take precautions against the flood, debris flow, landslide, and slope collapse and other geological disasters.

5. To avoid going to crowded places where people gather and the places where the public security is poor.

6. To avoid playing by the river and the lake. Swimming in the river is forbidden.

7. Please pay attention to food sanitation, and do not eat anything expired or spoiled.

8. Families with children need to conduct effective security education and guardianship on the children to avoid accidents.

9. In an emergency, please call the police at once and contact with your teacher.
