Paper cutting is one of the Chinese traditional folk arts and national intangible cultural heritages .

College for Overseas Education held a lecture on Chinese paper-cutting on May the 17th. The Chinese teacher introduced the history and cultural significance of Chinese paper-cutting. Under the guidance of the teacher, international students made their beautiful works. Through the cultural experience , international students gained not only the knowledge of paper-cutting, but also the joy that folk arts bring to life.
