On May 20, College for Overseas Education held an Online Admission Promotion (Online YZU). More than 200 international students from 21 countries participated in this event.

Zhang Yin, Dean of COE, welcomed students from various countries to Online YZU. She said, YZU has always been committed to exploring new knowledge, developing new technologies and studying new challenges. Our faculties are engaged with cultivating talents with self-confidence, international vision and leadership skills, who are ready to devote themselves to the building of a community of shared future. “We look forward to having excellent students worldwide to join the YZU family and strive to achieve their goals.” Gao Min, the Vice Dean, gave a brief introduction to YZU, programs for international students and scholarship policies. Tong Suyang, Head of the International Students Recruitment Section, answered some FAQs.

Online YZU was an attempt during the COVID-19 pandemic to establish an effective channel of communication between students, parents and the University, as well as to enhance its international reputation and influence. This event is well received by the participants as students and parents learn more about YZU. COE plans to organize more such events and invite famous professors, renowned alumni and excellent students to help applicants know the University better and find their ideal majors.
