On Jan. 25, College for Overseas Education held an Online Admission Promotion (Online YZU). Near 100 international students participated in this event by internet.

Zhang Yin, Dean of COE, welcomed students from various countries to Online YZU. She said, YZU has always been committed to exploring new knowledge, developing new technologies and studying new challenges. Our faculties are engaged with cultivating talents with self-confidence, international vision and leadership skills, who are ready to devote themselves to the building of a community of shared future. “We look forward to having excellent students worldwide to join the YZU family and strive to achieve their goals.”

Tong Suyang, Head of the International Students Recruitment Section, gave an introduction to Yangzhou and YZU, programs for international students and scholarship policies, and answered some FAQs. Rahat Sharif, a representative of YZU international students and a PhD student in the College of Horticulture and Plant Protection, shared his experience of studying and living at YZU.

ONLINE YZU is a new channel of promoting the brand of Studying at YZU accurately and effectively. COE plans to organize more such events at different levels and subjects to provide new, accurate and professional information and guidance for the international students.
