On April 8, College for Overseas Education held a virtual interview with Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) candidates for 2022 University Postgraduate Program. More than 100 students applied for this program. Thirteen candidates were finally selected after the screening process.

GAO Min, vice dean of COE, chaired the interview. The interview committee consisted of eight professors from relevant disciplines at YZU. In the oral defense, thirteen candidates gave presentations on their studies, academic achievements, research plans and so on, and answered the questions raised by the committee. Based on the candidates’ performance and their previous academic achievements, the committee recommended 5 candidates to CSC agent for the next round of evaluation. ZHANG Yin, dean of COE participated the meeting.

In recent years, COE has actively explored virtual modes of interview and review in the admission process, and enhanced the working mechanism, which has guaranteed admission of outstanding international students.
