Yangzhou University Admissions Virtual Fair for Satri Rachinuthit School Students
College for Overseas Education of Yangzhou University hosted an admissions virtual fair on November 16. Over 250 students and teachers from Satri Rachinuthit School in Thailand joined the fair via the Internet.


Guisheng ZHOU, Dean of COE, delivered a welcome speech. He said that Yangzhou University had always attached great importance to exchanges and cooperation with universities and scientific research institutions of Thailand, and has achieved fruitful results and made a positive contribution to Sino-Thailand higher education exchanges and cooperation. He expressed the warmest welcome to the students from Thailand to choose to study at YZU after graduation and looked forward to giving full play to the advantages of a comprehensive university to provide them with multiple program choices and strong academic support. Thidawan Nakasean, Principal of Satri Rachinuthit School, hoped that the students would learn more about YZU through this meeting and be well prepared for further studies. Suyang Tong, Director of Admissions Office, gave an introduction to Yangzhou, YZU and programs for international students, and answered the questions from the students. Ainthamon Natthicha from Thailand, an excellent graduate of the school, studying at College of Chinese Language and Literature of YZU as an undergraduate student in the program of Chinese International Education helped with this event as well.
Satri Rachinuthit School is located in Udon city, the capital of Udon Province in northeast Thailand. Founded in 1920, it is a prestigious six-year school in the local area. This is the first time that YZU has established a student source base at Satri Rachinuthit School. In the future, YZU will continue to promote in-depth exchanges and cooperation with the schools of Thailand, so as to build a platform for more students from Thailand to come to the University for exchange and study.
