On the afternoon of October 20, international students from Yangzhou University visited the "International Exchange Space" in Yangzhou Guangling District, participating the unveiling ceremony of the Yangzhou Public Diplomacy Cultural District. They also experienced intangible cultural heritage and tea culture.
During the visit, Mr. Wu Hailong, President of China Public Diplomacy Association, had a short conversation with our international students. When he learned that Orouye from Benin had developed a fascination with traditional Chinese medicine due to its role in lowering malaria mortality rates in Africa through the use of artemisinin, he expressed deep appreciation and encouraged the students to share their unique Chinese stories and become young ambassadors of public diplomacy.
The international students were honored to be invited as ambassadors of public diplomacy and expressed their commitment to studying the outcomes of the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.
