The closing ceremony of the "Joyful Reading in Jiangsu" event for international students in Jiangsu Province for the year 2023 was held at Nanjing Normal University. College for Overseas Education Yangzhou University received the Outstanding Organization Award.

Spanning six months, the event aimed to immerse international students in Chinese culture, particularly that of Jiangsu, through reading and field visits. Several foreign students were awarded for their literary and video works.

The university plans to continue guiding international students in reading classic Chinese literature and in perceiving and disseminating Chinese culture through diverse cultural activities.

News | New Year Gala for International Students

New Year Gala for international students was held at the Lotus Pond Campus Theater On December 21, 2024. Vice President Han Jie attended and delivered a speech.

During the gala, over 170 students from 20 countries participated in performances including martial arts, choir, recitation, skits, singing and dancing, and fashion shows, showcasing both the local culture of Yangzhou and international flair. The event concluded perfectly with a song titled "Friends," performed by teachers from the School of Overseas Education.
