On September 28, 2025, the "First Lesson" for new international students in Jiangsu, organized by the Provincial Department of Education, was held at Nanjing University of Science and Technology. The event was attended by senior officials from various departments.

Our university sent its international student delegation to participate. University leaders and faculty delivered inspiring speeches, energizing the audience. Current and former international students also shared their study abroad experiences in China, expressing gratitude for the valuable opportunity.

During the ceremony, our Moroccan student, Ge Zilan, was honored with the "Study in Jiangsu Government Scholarship" and received the award from Deputy Director Yang Shubing

The "First Lesson" ceremony underscores Jiangsu's commitment to global education and cultural exchange. It offers international students a platform to engage with Chinese culture and encourages them to act as ambassadors for cross-cultural understanding and a shared future.
