Dear students,

We believe wherever you are, you may have already learnt from your teachers, classmates or media reports about the outbreak of pneumonia caused by the new coronavirus in China. Ensuring the safety and health of every student and staff is always our priority. Hereby, we would like to notify you on the most concerned issues as follows:

1. Time for returning to the campus

Before receiving the official notice for return by the university, for students who are already overseas, please do not come back to campus. For students who are in China mainland, please stay where you are and comply with the local government’s requirements on epidemic prevention and control. Should you have compelling reasons to return to campus, you must contact College for Overseas Education first and strictly follow the procedures in the Specific Emergency Plan for Prevention and Control of the Epidemic among Teachers and Students who Return to Yangzhou University in Advance.

2. On-campus students management

For students on campus, please comply with the university’s requirements on epidemic prevention and control, avoid unnecessary going-out and do not believe or spread any rumor. Should you need psychological assistance, please contact your head teacher or counselor.

3. Visa-related issues

For questions and issues related to your visa or residence permit, please mail them to 007211@yzu.edu.cn for instructions.

4. Commencement of the new semester

If the new semester is unable to begin according to the original school calendar, please do understand and pay close attention to your emails or wechat group messages for timely notifications.
