Dear students，

2021 summer holidays will start from July 10 to Aug 27. Safety reminders are informed as follows:

1.Instructed by your college teacher, register your whereabouts during the holidays. Students are forbidden to go to medium/high risk areas.  If the location changes, please specify the reason and ask for leave from your college and fill in the APPLICATION FORM FOR CHANGING THE LOCATION DURING HOLIDAYS. Students cannot return to school without permission. Once approved, take the initiative to submit your travel track and health code.

2. The epidemic prevention and control is still at a grave stage. Please cooperate with the university and the local government on the epidemic prevention and control, strengthen personal protection and minimize the unessential going-out. If you experience symptoms of fever or respiratory infections, seek prompt diagnosis and treatment at medical institutions, and report to your liaison teacher or counselor at the earliest possible time.

3. Abide by Chinese laws and regulations together with YZU rules and disciplines. Keep yourself away from illegal employment, visa expiration, drinking and bad behaviours. Never engage in any other kinds of religious activities on campus. Always be cautious of traffic, information, property safety and frauds,etc.

4. Students who stay on campus shall abide by the relevant regulations of Overseas Students’ Housing in Yangzhou University. Accommodating others in the dorm is forbidden. Using induction cookers, micro-wave oven and other high power appliances in the room are strongly prohibited. Please keep the room quiet and clean.   Lock the door and windows, turn off the faucet and switch off all electricity supplies before leaving the room.

5. During summer holidays, the temperature is quite high. Check the local weather forecast in case of weather conditions such as the extremely high temperature and rainstorms. Take precautions against natural disasters in raining season. Avoid playing by or swimming in the rivers and lakes.

6. Be aware of food quality and personal sanitation. If you experience symptoms of diarrhea and vomiting, please seek prompt diagnosis and treatment at medical institutions

7.Families with children need to conduct effective security education and guardianship on the children to avoid accidents.

8. In case of an emergency, please call the police at once and contact with your teacher.
