College for Overseas Education launched a lecture --- Chinese Calligraphy on May 3. Chinese teacher Zhang Yun started from the evolution of Chinese scripts, introduced the history of Chinese Calligraphy, categories of Chinese brush, famous calligraphists, terms of Chinese Calligraphy and so on. According to teacher’s demonstration, the international students learned “Eight principles of Yong” to practice basic strokes. They displayed a lively interest in Chinese calligraphy.
