College for Overseas Education launched a lecture—traditional Chinese painting on Nov. 6. More than 50 students from Belgium, Mongolia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Uzbekistan, Sudan, Ghana, Yemen, Pakistan, Bangladesh and other countries took part in the lecture. Professional painter Yin Yuan introduced the history of Chinese painting, classification, four treasures of Chinese study and the basic painting methods. Followed the teacher’s demonstration, the students learned to draw the Peony. Their products showed a fantastic spring. All the students felt the charm of traditional Chinese painting from the experience.
