On December.14^th, two international students, majoring in MTCSOL, An Bing and Lin Litinggave a special cultural experience lecture in Chinese to international students of COE.

In the first part, An Bing, from Uzbekistan,showed the history, religious culture,delicious food and clothes of Uzbekistan with pictures, songs and videos.All the students were attracted by the customs of Uzbekistan.Then she introduced ceramics, the unique style,chic colors and patterns of which, made everyone felt amazing.

In the second part, Lin Liting, from Indonesia,who has rich teaching experience, created a relaxed and active atmosphere in the class. Lin introduced the famous cultural attractions in Indonesia, and their uniquehandicraft, Batik. In her vivid and comprehensive introduction,she taught students the steps of the batik, andeven showed them her own batik clothes. After the introduction, Lin and Antook out blank drawing paper and pigments and interacted with the students.

Jiang Hongqing, secretary of the CPC committee of COE, Wang Xiaozhi, vice dean of COE also attended this lecture.They gave valuable comments and suggestions to the two lecturer. They hold the view that this culture activity held very successfully, since they both have solid foundation of Chinese language, and hope they could make persistent efforts on their major.

Students also expressed their praise to the two lecturers and their great lecture, for they felt relaxed and happy in such kind of “play & learn” lecture.
